Spatial Temporal of Urban Green Space in Tropical City Of Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Urban green space is one of the essential variables to influence urban climate. spaces offer evaporative cooling. The process vital mitigate heat island. This paper investigates spatial-temporal pattern changes in tropical city Kuching, Malaysia, using remote sensing and GIS. To achieve objective, this study required three steps. first was a performed pre-processing, namely geometric correction, atmosphere radiometric correction. next step retrieval land surface temperature at thermal band for every selected data year 1988, 2000, 2011, 2019. third supervised classification generate cover map year. final identify correlation between greens LST. results discovered spatial patterns significantly effects cooling potential which more areas encounter stronger effect expansion decreases areas.
